Application allows browsing the database of more than 15 000 ATMs in Poland and searching devices located nearest indicated address. Found ATMs can be presented on map using Google Maps application.

The database stores majority of Polish ATM networks as well as Euronet, cash4you, eCard and GCS networks. It is periodically updated; updates are free of charges and can be downloaded using internet connection. Database is provided by www.karty.pl.

ATMs browsing and searching functions can be used in offline mode, however GPS localization services require enabled GPS module or internet connection (details in functions description chapter).

Thanks to useful user interface it is possible to find sought ATM using few touches of the screen only.

Application is designated for iPhone, iPod Touch and phones with Google Android operating system.

1. Browse by location

It allows browsing ATMs database by narrowing down in particular steps the results to ATM networks, province and city. GPS module or Internet connection is not needed to use this function.

Step 1 – ATM network selection

It is possible to select all ATM networks (by default), one network or any ATMs subset. Option "Select/Deselect all" enables fast selection and deselection of all listed records. After ATM network selection option “next” located in the top sidebar of the screen shall be chosen.

Step 2 – Province selection

It shows the list of provinces in which chosen ATM network owns ATMs.

Step 3 – City selection

It shows the list of cities in which chosen ATM network owns ATMs. Typing part of the city name in "Fast search" field allows narrowing down the list of available results.

Step 4 – ATM selection

It shows the list of ATMs for a given ATM network. Typing the part of street name in ”Fast search” field (look for a top sidebar in the screen) will narrow down the list of available records.

Step 5 – ATM details

It presents ATM location on Google map and "karty.pl" button which points to ATM details on www.karty.pl.

2. Search by name

It allows searching specific ATM by part of the city or street name. GPS module or Internet connection is not needed to use this function.

Step 1 – City name, street name and ATM network selection

Part of specific location name shall be typed in "City name" and/or "Street name" fields (at least 3 letters).Both fields are case-insensitive. There is no need to use polish specific signs.

It shows the list of all ATMs satisfying search criteria. Typing the part of city or street name in ”Fast search” field (top sidebar) will narrow down the list of available records.

Step 3 - ATM details

It presents ATM location on Google map and "karty.pl" button which points to ATM details on www.karty.pl.

3. Find near the address

It allows localization of 50 ATMs located nearest chosen address. Function requires internet connection.

Step 1 - City name, street name and ATM network selection

It allows typing the city and street name in "Address" field in format "city, street”. It is possible to type only city name as well. Given address is changed to GPS coordinates using Google Maps service. From the list of available ATM networks it is possible to choose all ATM networks (default), one ATM network or any subset. Option "Select/Deselect all" enables fast selection and deselection of all listed records. After ATM network selection option “next” located in the top sidebar shall be chosen.

Step 2 – ATM Selection

It lists 50 ATMs placed nearest the given address sorted by distance between points. By default distance is presented in kilometers but it can be changed to miles in application settings. Typing the part of city or street name in ”Fast search” field located in the top sidebar will narrow down the list of available records.

Step 3 - ATM details

It presents ATM location on Google map and "karty.pl" button which points to ATM details on www.karty.pl.

4. Find near the GPS location

It allows localization of 50 ATMs located nearest chosen address. Function requires GPS module enabled.

Step 1 – Getting current location from GPS module and ATM network selection

Application is getting current location - it requires enabled GPS module. Action can take about 10-20 seconds.

From the list of available ATM networks it is possible to choose all ATM networks (default), one ATM network or any subset. Option "Select/Deselect all" enables fast selection and deselection of all listed records. After ATM network selection option “next” located in the top sidebar of the screen shall be chosen.

Step 2 – ATM Selection

5. Fast search

Function is enabled only on city selection screen and ATM selection screen. List of found records can be narrowed down by typing successive letters of needed location. Strings are comprised using following rules:

• Capitals and small caps are not differentiated (case-insensitive)
• There is no need to use polish signs
• Searched string can be located in the beginning or in the middle or at the end of location name

a = A = ą = Ą

s = S = ś = Ś

l = L = ł = Ł

z = Z = ż = Ż = ź = Ź

c = C = ć = Ć

n = N = ń = Ń

For a given phrases ‘wrocl’ following results will be visible:

• Bielany Wrocławskie
• Kąty Wrocławskie
• Wrocław

6. Database update

Function allows checking the availability of new ATM database version and to download and install it if needed. It requires internet connection.

Step 1 - Check

It connects with internet web site and checks if already installed ATM database is the newest version. If the newer version is available then button ”Download” is enabled. It allows upgrading database.

Step 2 - Download

It allows downloading and installing new version of ATMs database. Download time depends on internet connection (DB file size: 0.8 MB).
